Susie’s owner was put into a nursing home. Unfortunately, there were no family or friends that could take Susie or her brother, Sam. They ended up at the Humane Society, but it was determined that they could not be considered for adoption. Susie is a very sweet dog, but is a bit reserved until she gets to know you. She really enjoys getting brushed.
Susie is current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and spayed. We are treating her for a dry eye with eye drops and antibiotic ointment. She also is on a diet since she is a bit on the plump side! Susie rides very well in a car, is good on a leash, and knows a few commands. All she wants is love, attention, and affection. She gets along with other dogs, ignores cats, but we are not sure how she behaves around children. Susie will make a wonderful companion to a family with lots of love to give.
